Islamic Science-oriented school debuts in Abuja

An Islamic school focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education has kicked off in the nation’s capital Abuja, aimed at balancing Islamic and Western education.
In a press statement issued on behalf of Board of Directors and signed by Hajia Amina Abubakar, stated that the school, At-Tarbiyyah STEM School was established to improve student’s learning in science and technology.
According to the statement, “we are the first Islamic faith-based secondary school in Abuja to focus on the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education.
“Our goal is to produce problem solvers, innovators and pace setters in the world of science and technology”.
The statement therefore called on parents and guardians who are willing to give their wards balanced education to enroll them in At-Tarbiyyah school situated in Katampe district of Abuja
It added that the school will continue to offer the best education in an ideal secondary education, as well as inculcating strong and moral values.
