The Vice Chancellor, Bauchi State University, Professor Auwalu Uba has commiserated with the families of the students of Abubakar Tarawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, who lost their lives following a torrential water, that caused the collapse of a bridge at it permanent site in Gubi Campus on Monday night.
In a statement issued by the Head Information and Public Relations of the University, Malam Isa Suleman which was distributed to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday said, the vice chancellor, described the incident as a great lost, sad and unfortunate, also condoled with the university management, staff, students, Bauchi state government and Nigeria in general over the lost.
Professor Uba prayed Almighty God to console the families who lost their loved once, the university community and wished the injured students speedy recovery.
