A group under the auspices of the Joint Action Committee (JACOM) has applauded the Kaduna State Government over the recent peaceful conduct of Local Government elections in the State
This was asserted by the National Coordinator of JACOM, Engr. Idris Musa during a press conference in Kaduna, yesterday.
The coordinator noted that how the election was peacefully conducted is a source of strength for the people of Kaduna State and the democratic process.
“The people of Kaduna State conducted themselves peacefully and orderly and this is proof that it is possible to hold a democratic Election without silence or bloodshed.”
He also observed that Kaduna State has remained peaceful since the advent of the current Administration and urged the leadership of the State government under Sen. Uba Sani to continue on the path of peace.
“We urge the Administration to continue in this direction, and we call on the people to continue to maintain peace and development as they are intertwined and must be observed at all times.”
