Jaji Wins APC Reps Primary in Zamfara

The North-West Director of Contact and Mobilisation for the Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 general elections, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Jaji emerged victorious in the APC primary election after polling 37,064 votes to defeat his closest rival, Hassan Umar, who scored 1,400 votes.

Announcing the result, Chairman of the APC National Assembly Primary Election Committee for Zamfara State, Dr. Bello Maigari, declared Aminu Sani Jaji winner of the primary and the party’s authentic flag bearer for the constituency in the 2027 elections.

Maigari stated that the exercise was conducted peacefully and transparently under the supervision of the election committee from Abuja, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, the media, party stakeholders and loyalists.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the exercise, the lawmaker representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency applauded the peaceful and orderly conduct of the primary election.

Jaji also commended the leadership of the APC in Zamfara State and other critical stakeholders for their cooperation, which he said contributed to the success of the exercise.

He expressed gratitude to APC members across the 21 electoral wards of the constituency for the overwhelming support and confidence reposed in him.

According to him, the victory comes with greater responsibility to serve the people with renewed commitment, dedication, sincerity and effective representation.

He pledged to continue pursuing programmes and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of constituents and addressing their aspirations.

Jaji further assured the people of the constituency of his continued support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal towards building a better Zamfara State and Nigeria.
