The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new process allowing candidates to upload their O’Level results from the comfort of their homes, following the Board’s integration of its e-Facility platform with examination bodies responsible for conducting the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
This was made known in a statement by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, Ag. Director, Public Affairs and Protocol, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
The initiative, which begins with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), enables JAMB to verify candidates’ O’Level results directly with the issuing examination bodies, eliminating the need for candidates to visit Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres solely for result verification and upload.
The Board said the development is part of its renewed commitment to making its services easier, faster, safer and more convenient for candidates, particularly by leveraging technology to reduce unnecessary visits to CBT centres, queues and manual processes.
According to JAMB, the new arrangement will also address challenges associated with the manual upload of O’Level results, including misplaced or mixed-up paper results, presentation of unverified or fraudulent certificates, as well as errors in the manual entry of subjects and grades.
Under the new system, candidates’ results are verified against the records of the relevant examination bodies before the verified results are made available for selection and upload to their JAMB profiles.

Upon successful submission, a notification confirming the upload will be sent to the candidate.
JAMB said the verification service would provide candidates with a convenient alternative, particularly during periods of high patronage and network challenges at CBT centres.
The Board said the initiative reflects the commitment of its sixth Registrar, Prof.
Segun Aina, to building a more customer-oriented and technology-driven service delivery system.
It added that it would continue to deploy technology and collaborate with relevant examination and government agencies to simplify its processes while making its services safer, faster and more accessible to candidates.
