The Bauchi office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reiterated its commitment to the strict observance of COVID-19 protocol
Dr Danladi, the director in charge of the office, made this known in Bauchi.
He advised all prospective candidates willing to sit for the board’s examination to ensure that they are vaccinated against the disease.
He explained that presentation of evidence of COVID-19 vaccination has become a nationwide policy, especially in federal agencies and parastatals.
“We would not relent on implementation of this all important policy,” he warned.
He said the office has since embarked on one-on-one sensitization of students, especially JAMB candidates on the imperative of the vaccination.
He said the office will not attend those who violate the COVID-19 protocol in order to ensure safety of their staff and all those who patronize them.
“We do observe the protocol religiously irrespective of status or position,” he added.
