JICOPH trains Media/CSOs BHCPF in Jigawa

The Jigawa State Civil Society Partnership for Health (JICOPH) with support from Lafiya programme has trained 30 media practitioners, ‎CSOs and other health stakeholders on how to improve basic health care services and create awareness on basic health care service provision fund (BHCPF).
While speaking at the trainingn the chairman of JICOPH comrade Musa Mu’azu said, the three days training aimed at boosting the skill of Media practitioners and CSOs to promote health care services in Jigawa state.
He said, the training will also help the participants particularly the media to create awareness to the public to adhere the Covid – 19 protocols.
The chairman maintained that, during the meeting the role, guidelines and level of preparedness from both JICHMA and JPHCDA was highlighted to the participants to help them in their activities.
Comrade Mu’azu added that, the participant identified problems and causes in the basic health care facilities as well as the roles of Ward Development Committees in the facilities.
He then called for the participation more women in the WDC to reach at least 40 percent.
