The Jigawa state government has awarded the contract for the construction of a new General Hospital, at Birnin kudu local government of the state, at the cost of N1, 498,970.14 billion.
Announcing this yesterday, after the state Executive Council meeting, the state Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Babandi Ibrahim said the hospital is expected to be completed within 8 months.
The commissioner also announced that the contractual agreement entered with Datum Construction Company has assured that the hospital would be ready for use at the stipulated agreed time.
The commissioner said the state government has approved the construction of additional 30 windmills for animal-grazing across the state, at the cost of N350, 487, 264. 60.
He said the number of windmills constructed would amount to fifty since the conception of the idea.
