Jigawa fertilizer plant to produce 6,600 bags daily

The newly established fertilizer plant in Jigawa state, popularly known as Mallam Alu Agro Allied company Birnin kudu, has started production of 6,600 bags of fertilizer daily.
This was confirmed by the manager of the company, Mansur Da,’s Aliyu adding that, the ferlizer blending plant has been established with a view to reduce the shortages of the commodity in the entire country.
The Manager said the new established firm has Diary section, chemical Fertilizer blending plant, Green house as well as a fishery section.
He further explained that when the production start in full capacity, 6,600 bags of fertilizer can be produced daily. “This can automatically bring down the skyrocketing prices of the commodity”.
According to him that the Greenhouse will be producing thousands of Tomatoes that will be harvested on weekly bases nonstop for eight months.
While on the other side, the Diary section of the firm has cows and goats that are of foreign breed and local breed combined to produce cross-breeding.
Also the Fishery section of the comoany has more than 100,000 fingerlings that had already planted into two ponds that are ready for harvest.
He said the company has automatic stands by generator in case of power outages that are happening from time to time.
