The Association of Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Nigeria(AONN), with support from VILDEV inaugurated the Jigawa first Lady Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi as Patron of the Association in the state.
The inauguration took place during the celebration of world orphans day organized by the Association with support from Jigawa State government on Monday.
The first lady shortly after the inauguration, supported 100 Orphan and Vulnerable Children with education materials that can help them to achieve their education career.
Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi, who was represented by Hajiya Asmau Dutse, called for more support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Jigawa State.
While delivering her speech, the Jigawa state coordinator, Association of Orphans and Vulnerable Children Hajiya Nafisa Abdullahi congratulated and commended the first lady on efforts to uplift the life of orphans and vulnerable children in Jigawa.
