The wife of Jigawa state governor, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi has visited some hospitals and distributed an assistant packages to the patients.
The hospital she visited included; Dutse general Hospital and Rashid Shekoni teaching hospital.
Speaking to news men during the visit, Hajiya Hadiza explained that, the purpose of the visit was to sympathize with patients as part of the tradition of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The first lady also gave cash and other items to a woman who gave birth to triplets at the hospital.
While speaking on the condition of Dutse general hospital, the first lady expressed need for government to redouble effort towards improving free maternal and child health in the state.
