The stakeholders of Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) in Jigawa state have promised to make the ACJMC functional in the state.
The promise was made during a town hall meeting for effective implementation, sustainablity of ACJL regime in Nigeria, organized by CLEEN Foundation and funded by Macarthur foundation.
The town hall meeting which was attended by representatives from Police, Correctional Service, ministry of justice, NBA, Justice sector reform, Nigeria Customs Service, Human Rights, Legal Aid, among many other stakeholders.
The stakeholders also promised more commitments to revive the committee and ensure smooth running of Administration of Criminal Justice Law in Jigawa state.
“We promise to do all our best to make ACJMC work in Jigawa state”, the stakeholders said.
