The Agaba (Chief) of Jiwa in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the FCT, His Royal Highness Dr. Idris Musa, has urged the Koro people to be proud of their native language at all times.
Agaba, who stated this while speaking to newsmen during the national annual koro festival/unveiling of National Wrapper attire which took place in Zuba on Sarturday, also charged every Nigerian to shun religious sentiments.
Agaba, who stated this in an interview with newsmen during the National Annual Koro Festival/unveiling of National Wrapper which took place in Zuba on Saturday, further advised every Nigerian to be proud of their native languages anywhere they live.
He also charged Nigerians to live in peace with one another irrespective of their political and tribal differences, calling for the unity of Nigerians at all times.
The royal father, however, tasked Koro people to deem it necessary to respect their fathers, noting that koro are peace-loving people.
Speaking earlier, the Agora of Zuba, Alhaji muhammad Bello Umar, pleaded with the government at all levels to provide scholarship to koro children so as to go to school.
