The first national summit of the Goodluck Support Group (GSG) has been described as timely as the nation approaches the 2015 general elections.

Deputy Chairman of a political pressure group, House-2-House Campaign for Democracy, Ambassador Aisha Audu-Emeje, made the declaration yesterday in Abuja.

Audu-Emeje, who spoke with Peoples Daily shortly after the summit held at the Eagle Square, noted that the overwhelming crowd is a manifestation of the ground work being carried out by the various groups.

“The essence of democracy is plurality of ideas, the more the groups, the better for our democratic journey”.

She added that the summit has succeeded in harmonizing the various groups which, before now, were not much coordinated.

“I think the office of the political adviser has brought in sanity and has been able to unravel those behind the support groups across the country”.

She however called on Nigerians to support the Transformation Agenda of the present administration insisting that it is beyond party affiliations.
