Judiciary commends Gov. Gaidam for rectifying staff salaries

Yobe state Judicial Council has commended the state Governor, Alh. Ibrahim Gaidam for his prompt action to rectify the issue of salary level for the office of the permanent secretary and other issues affecting the council.
The Chief Judge of Yobe state, Honourable Justice Garba Musa Nabaruma, made the commendation on the occasion of the swearing in of Barrister Bamai Lawan Boni Garam as Permanent Secretary, Yobe state Judicial Council, which took place at the chamber of the chief justice, at the state high court in Damaturu, the state capital.
According to him, the appointee has been occupying the office since 2013, but on a salary level less than what the position attracts, pointing out that the council has made several efforts to ensure that the salary issue is rectified but to no avail until the attention of Governor Ibrahim Gaidam was drawn to it and rectified it.
