The Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB) has partnered with the Caleb Danladi Foundation to train teachers across the state on modern teaching techniques to strengthen foundational learning in public primary schools.
The initiative, which aligns with Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to quality, accessible education, is designed to enhance teaching standards by equipping teachers with innovative, learner-centered, and effective instructional methods to improve learning outcomes.
Speaking after receiving a delegation from the Foundation, who paid him a courtesy visit at his office on Wednesday, KADSUBEB Executive Chairman Malam Mubarak Mohammed reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to open, inclusive governance during an engagement with the Foundation.
He emphasized the need to create opportunities for individuals and organizations to contribute meaningfully to the development of the education sector.
According to him, improving the quality of education in Kaduna State is a collective responsibility that requires strong collaboration between the government and relevant stakeholders.
Earlier, the Founder of the Caleb Danladi Foundation, Capt. Caleb Danadi Bako said the Foundation remains committed to supporting teacher capacity building and ensuring that every child in Kaduna State has access to quality education.
He noted that adopting modern teaching techniques is critical to improving learning outcomes and strengthening foundational skills among young learners, particularly at the basic education level.
During the visit, the Foundation’s delegation presented proposed areas of collaboration, including the selection of pilot schools and teachers to ensure effective implementation of the training program.
The roles KADSUBEB would play in facilitating the process were also outlined.
The partnership is expected to significantly improve the quality of teaching and learning in public primary schools across the state, in line with the government’s ongoing education reform agenda.
