Kaduna 2019: Isa Ashiru team sure of victory at PDP primaries

Director General of Isa Mohammed Ashiru Campaign Organisation (HIMACO), Sule Buba, has expressed optimism over the success of his principal at forthcoming gubernatorial primaries of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State.
Buba, in an interview with journalists at the HIMACO secretariat in Kaduna yesterday said the rosy welcome the campaign team received from the delegates and other members of the PDP during its recent tour of local government areas was an indication of the tremendous support that Ashiru enjoys in Kaduna State.
So far, those who have purchased the governorship form includes the former Governor of the State, Ramalan Yero, ex-NEMA’s Director General, Sani Sidi,
Mohammed Sani Bello, Shuaibu Idris Miqati.
But Buba who described the relationship between Ashiru and the other aspirants as cordial further explained that “the contest is a family affair as whoever emerges as the candidate of the PDP will definitely need the support of the others.”
On the recent purchase of the gubernatorial nomination form by Ashiru, the DG said the fact that the aspirant was the first among all the others to buy the form “shows his seriousness and commitment to the contest.”
