The Ngas community in Kaduna State has reaffirmed its support for President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima, while commending the All Progressives Congress for the successful flag-off of its 2027 presidential campaign in Kaduna.
The community described the event, held at the Kaduna Township Stadium on Saturday, as a significant political gathering that demonstrated the ruling party’s organisational capacity and the state’s readiness to host major national engagements.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Ngas Development Association, Kaduna State Branch, Hon. Nentawe Gomiyar, the association expressed solidarity with the Kaduna State Government, the APC and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
It also commended Tinubu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and the APC leadership for their roles in the successful campaign flag-off.
The association praised the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and other party leaders for their contributions to the event.
Gomiyar particularly described Yilwatda, an illustrious son of the Ngas community, as a source of pride and inspiration to the people, especially the youths.
He said the national chairman’s leadership of the ruling party had brought honour to the community.
The association also offered prayers for Tinubu and Shettima, seeking divine wisdom, good health, strength and protection for the nation’s leaders as they continue their political engagements across the country.
It called for unity, peace and progress, expressing its commitment to the development of Kaduna State and Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the association has invited political leaders, media organisations and members of the public to its annual cultural festival, Pusdung, scheduled for November 14, 2026.
The festival is expected to provide an opportunity to celebrate Ngas culture and promote unity among the people.
