The family of the murdered Kaduna Student, Ahmed Musa, has threatened to hold a mass protest after the Chief Magistrate of Kabala Doki Kaduna, Justice Naheed Ibrahim Abdulhamid, adjourned the court for hearing again.
It would be recalled that the late Ahmed Musa, a student of Government Technical College Malali, Kaduna, was brutally murdered on 16th February 2025, leading to the arrest of six suspects, with two remanded in Police custody.
Justice Naheed Ibrahim Abdulhamid adjourned the case until 27th May 2025, due to the absence of the witnesses in court —the Nigeria police and the prime suspects.
While accusing the Kaduna State Government and the Police of neglecting the family, the mother of the deceased cried out, calling for the intervention of Human Rights groups such as Amnesty International and others.
“I want the public to know that no matter what I the biological mother of Late Ahmed Musa won’t pack up, I will continue to struggle to see justice done, by merely looking at the murder case, as like Kaduna state government and the Nigerian police want to frustrate we the family so that out of frustration, we will pack up and the murder case will no longer proceed.
“So the next step is that we will organize a mass women’s protest across the state; we have started contacting different women’s organizations, and after that, we will proceed to BEREKETE family. Also, we will organize a worldwide press conference in respect of my son’s killing.”
