Nigerian Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ), Kaduna branch, has inaugurated new executives who will pilot the affairs of the association in the state for the next three years.

Barrister Godwin Duru administered the oath of office for the new excos at the NUJ Press Center, Kaduna, where some officials of the Association from the National, members of the State Council, among others were present.

In her remarks, Chairperson, Fatima  Aliyu Mahuta, who returned unopposed,  said the last three years offered them an avenue that has widened their horizons in steering the affairs of the association that will serve as a guide to consolidate on existing achievements and make amendments where necessary.

She noted that, the present Excos under her watch is poised to work as a team and chart a formidable course that will advance and protect the interests of female journalists in Kaduna.
