KDSG lauds appointment of ECWA Church chairman

Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has rejoiced with Reverend Inusa Nmadu Jnr, over his election as Chairman of the Ecclesiastical Church of West Africa (ECWA), Kaduna Central Diocese.

In a congratulatory letter, the Governor described the election of Reverend Nmadu as a step in right direction based on his antecedent as advocate for peaceful coexistence in the state.

“Governor felicitates with the man of God on his worthy election, we urge him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in partnering with government towards building lasting peace and stability in the entire state.

“On behalf of government and entire people of Kaduna state, Governor Yero congratulates Reverend Nmadu over his election and wished him success in his new capacity,” he said.

He also called on the Reverend as former Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to work towards building bridges among adherents of different faiths in Kaduna State and beyond.
