Kebbi Gov to opposition: Veritfy your facts before going on air

Kebbi State Deputy Governor Col. Ismail Yombe Dabi (Rtd) has charge all the opposition parties in the State to be objective in their political criticism and verify their facts before go on air.
He disclosed this weekend while responding to some allegations level against the present administration over the irregularities that marred the activities of the Government adding that verifying of the facts will restore peace and unit in the State.
He explained further by condemning the allegations made by the State Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) saying that they cannot stop them to express their views but there is need to cross check their facts before go on air.
Dabai who said that Kebbi State Government has non hands on the issue of Anchor Borrowers programme “you see the money was shared accordingly, due process was followed, nobody complain about the programme, the opposition parties are trying to blackmail the Government, the programme has also promoted the State in terms of Rice production and other agriculture crops in which the Bank of Agriculture also reconciled and gave the State award” he added.
He also emphasized on the security apparatus of the state adding that the state was known as the most peaceful State which was rated as a crime free.
“In view of this the State Government has engaged all the security agents in most of the area there is security challenges, I was a retired Army Officer and I used my past experiences to support the officers and men in tackling the menace” he added.
Dabai who added that the area the State was haven problem is the border area between the Kebbi State and Zamfara state in Danko wasagu where the bandits used to cross through the revering area but now the water as dry which they used that opportunity and cross the border.
“Our security men have been alerted to fight them back and since they revenge nothing happened again, the people are now living fine and freely” he said.
