Masari mourns Faskari district head

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has expressed sadness over the death of Sarkin Yamman Katsina and District Head of Faskari, Alhaji Tukur Usman Sa’idu.
A onetime permanent secretary in the civil service of the government of the defunct Kaduna State, the Sarkin Yamman Katsina in the evening of Friday, January 24, 2020 in Kaduna.
On receiving the news of the passing away of the Faskari District Head, Governor Masari lamented that the state had lost a quiet gentleman who was regularly sought for his wise counsel.
“The death of Sarkin Yamman Katsina is a huge loss that will be felt beyond Katsina State.
“He had had distinguished himself very well as a civil servant, and had done so again as a traditional ruler, who was so loved as much by his people as most of those who had interacted with him.
“His death has robbed Katsina State and the people of his wise counsel and kind warmth”, Governor Masari added.
While condoling the people of Faskari District, he urged the immediate family of the deceased to take consideration on the fact that their patriarch had made his mark and lived a fulfilled life every bereaved should be proud of.
