Keep off Sokoto State, Youth Forum tells PDP

Date:

From Femi Oyelola, Kaduna

he Sokoto Progressives Youth Forum (SPYF) resident in Kaduna has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to keep away from the state because all Sokoto state indigenes have wholeheartedly thrown their support behind the All Progressive Congress (APC), for its landmark achievements in the state.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna yesterday, signed by its chairman, Mallam Jamilu Galadima, said the developmental strides by the Wamakko administration in the last eight years should not be allowed to die after his tenure.

The forum stated that since the coming on board of Governor Aliyu Wamakko, he has remained committed to the development of the state which is there for everyone to see.

The statement commended the zeal and commitment of the Governor towards the peaceful existence of everybody in Sokoto state which showed that the Governor is a father to all and whose legacies should be continued.

According to the forum, Sokoto State has now become the home of APC, stressing that no other party can be popular and accepted in the state including the PDP which the forum believed is now a dead party in the state in spite of all the noise the PDP was making.
