Keshi blames referee for Eagles’ World Cup exit

Keshi_02The Coach of the Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi has blamed the referee for his team two zero lost to the French National Football Team.

Speaking at the post match conference, Keshi said he was not in the habit of accusing referees said that man was solely responsible for their defeat.

He said that he did not see anything wrong with the goal Emenike scored stressing also that the referee over protected the French players.

Keshi however said he missed the presence of Bright Dike and Leo Balogu, stressing that they would have made a great difference to his team.

The French National Team Monday defeated the Nigeria Super Eagles by two goals to nothing in a second round match played at the ongoing FIFA World cup in Brasilia.

Two goals scored in the second half of the Game by Juventus, Paul Pogba and an own goal by Eagles captain gave the French team the victory against the Super Eagles team.

The Stephen Keshi team had showed some resilience in the first half of the game which ended goalless but capitulated in the second half when the French side came out smoking.

The scoreline would have been more than that, thanks to the brilliance of goal keeper, Vincent Enyeama.
