Kidnappers abduct 4 persons on Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna highway

Four persons have been abducted by suspected armed bandits along Birnin Gwari Kaduna Highway.
The incidents was said to have occurred around 7:am on Tuesday at Tashan Tsuntsaye Village close to Kuriga Village along the highway.
It was gathered that the victims were two women, two males.
National Road Transport Workers Association NURTW Birnin Gwari Chairman, Danladi Duniya confirmed the incident.
He said a couple from Birnin Gwari town were among the people kidnapped .
According to him, they were traveling in their private vehicle when they were stopped by the gunmen.
“ All victims are from Birnin Gwari town two women and two males. In fact husband and wife were among those abducted,” he said.
He also said the second woman too was married and that their abductors have not yet contacted their families.
“Their family have not being contacted by their abductors . We are only waiting to hear from them,” he said.
Efforts made to speak with state Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo proved abortive as he didn’t pick his calls as at press time.
