Following the incessant security challenges ranging from kidnapping, armed banditry and herders/farmers unrest in Nasarawa State, Traditional rulers cut across the state have assured Governor Sule of their determination and support to fight criminality of all forms.
The Emir of Lafia ritired Justice Sidi Mohammed Bage who is the Nasarawa State Chairman Council of Chiefs stated this during Security Council meeting held at the Banquet Hall Government House Lafia on Wednesday.
According to him, “We are all gathered here as traditional rulers in the state with the sole aim of finding lasting solution to the persistent cases of kidnapping, Armed banditry, Herders/Farmers crisis being witnessed.
We need peace and harmony in our beloved state. Our responsibilities as Royal fathers is to ensure that the state is free from these acts of criminalities”.
Bage who further lamented that there are still pockets of security challenges despite the frantic effort being put in place by Governor Sule for the past one year in office.
