Date:

From Adama John, Lokoja

As the euphoria of 2023 general elections grips Kogi State,  Governor Yahaya Bello has warned party stalwarts against anti party activities that may derail the course of presidential sucess of All Progressive Congress (APC)  in the state.

The warning came Monday in government house when he  summoned party stalwarts from Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal constituency at a stakeholders’ meeting.

The tough talking Bello reminded them that his leadership delivered all the various positions across the state to  APC in the last general elections, stressing that it must be replicated to cling to the top position.

” You can be on social media and say anything. I don’t care. If you do anything contrary, you will be dealt with. They can be on social media to make noise, but on the field, we will deal with them”, governor Bello warned.

He recalled that he championed an association ‘Kogi Arise Group’ that gave President Buhari victory in 2015 and 2019

He reassured that what was achieved in 2019 for President Buhari will be achieved twice for the duo of Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.
