From Ahmad Ibrahim, Lokoja

Barely a week after the demise of the President, state Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Shaibu Ibrahim Atadoga, Kogi State has lost its Chief Judge, Justice Nasiru Ajanah.
People’s Daily reliably gathered that late Justice Ajanah died in the early hours of Sunday morning, at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. He was 64 years.
The fallen legal luminary was appointed chief judge of KogiI State in 2009, following the retirement of the then acting chief judge, Justice Kayode Ota.
The Kogi State Government, in its reaction, described the demise of late Justice Ajanah as a huge blow, saying he would be greatly missed for his outstanding contributions to the administration of Justice in the state
The statement which was signed by the state commissioner for information, Mr Kingsley Fanwo, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja yesterday, further described late Justice Ajanah as a brilliant personality whose demise had created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.
It equally prayed Allah to forgive the late chief judge his shortcomings, and Grant him eternal rest, even as it prayed that the Almighty would give the loved ones he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
