For the umpteenth time, there was pandemonium when gunmen invaded and abducted one person in Pegi Community, located in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
It was gathered that the kidnap incident which took place at about 8:10 pm on Wednesday, caused panic mood as the unknown gunmen fired several gunshots.
Also, the gunmen were said to have dressed in black attire fired shots at a Volkswagen saloon car, condemning the vehicle with blood stains.
However, it was learnt that other occupants of the vehicle were wounded while they left with one person who resides in pagi.
It was observed that many residents of Pegi on hearing the incidents could not go in and out of Pegi due to fear of kidnap.
Confirming the latest abduction incident, Chairman of Pegi Community Development Association (PECDA) Mr. Taiwo Aderibigbe described the seemingly reoccurring happening as a sad development.
According to him, the police have taken over the road as at when filing this report.
