Kwankwasiyya empowers 1000 women, sensitises people in Niger

A group under the auspices of ‘Kwankwasiya Movement’ has commenced the sensitisation of the citizens in the state, as well as the empowered over one thousand women with between N10,000 and N20,000 per person in Niger State.
The State Coordinator of the Movement, Hon. Abubakar Lado Suleja, made the disclosure in an interview in Minna after a gathering to mark the 61st birthday of their leader and former Governor of Kano state,
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Lado Suleja noted that the political movement was aimed at sensitizing Nigerians on the objectives, ideology, leadership qualities, track records, honest, listening and sincere leadership of Senator Kwankwaso.
He added that the movement is to create awareness on the acceptability of his leadership attributes by the Nigerian electorates such as to motivate them to vote for him in the 2019 presidential election to enable him replicate such in Nigeria as a whole.
The federal lawmaker who is representing Suleja, Tafa and Gurara Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, applauded the tremendous achievements of the former Governor of Kano state, especially in the sponsoring of over 2,600 girls and boys abroad for studies in various courses.
He hinted that it has been his ideology and that he had also given 108 beneficiaries scholarship for studies, while forty four of the students were abroad, adding that by January next year, another batch of twelve would be sponsored abroad for studies, with majority to be on medical courses.
In his remarks, the State Chairman of the Movement, Alhaji Danladi Abdulhamid, said that the group had released 400 bags of 50kg rice to be distributed for the people in the state to alleviate the hunger experienced by the people in the country.
