The All Progressive Congress (APC) has appointed the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazak, to lead the party’s 8-man zoning sub-committee, with the responsibility to distribute the party offices fairly across the six geopolitical zones.

A statement issued yesterday by the National Secretary of the party, John James Akpanudoedehe, APC said the National Chairman of the party’s  Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Mai Mala Buni, who is also the Governor of Yobe State, has approved the appointment for its forthcoming National Convention.

It said while Governor AbdulRazak serves as Chairman, the Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, will serve as Deputy Chairman, while other members are: Prof.  Etim Nyong, MB Shehu, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, Sen. Teslim Folarin, Sadeeq Sule-Iko Sami, while the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Nkem Okeke, will serve as Secretary.

According to the statement, the party has mandated the Committee to submit its report on Monday, 7th March.
