Lagos APC mourns assistant publicity secretary Karamo Yesiro

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State is mourning the sudden death of its Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro, barely 24 hours after he was re-elected into the party’s state executive committee.
Yesiro reportedly passed away a day after the APC held its state congress at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, where he secured another term in office.

The news of his death was confirmed on Wednesday night in a statement issued by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo.

According to the statement, the party received the news with shock and deep sadness, describing Yesiro as a loyal and committed member who strongly believed in the ideals and vision of the APC.

“He was a vibrant party man whose contributions to the growth and stability of the APC in Lagos State will not be forgotten,” the statement read.

The party noted that although his time in office was cut short, his humility, passion and readiness to serve left a lasting impression on members and associates across the state.

Leaders of the party also extended their condolences to his family, friends, political associates and supporters, praying that they find the strength to bear the loss.

The Lagos APC added that the party stands united in grief over the passing of Yesiro, saying his dedication and service to the progressive movement will always be remembered.
