Lamido, Dankwambo pick PDP nomination forms, as group picks form for Abia governor

Two of presidential aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday picked the party’s presidential nomination forms and expression of interest forms upon the payment of the sum of twelve million naira (N12million) each.
The two aspirants are former governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido and governor of Gombe, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.
While Lamido collected his form at the Wadata House headquarters of the PDP, Dankwambo, on his part, picked his form at the Legacy House office of the party in Maitama, Abuja.
Dankwambo also met with the members of the National Working Committee of the party at the legacy house.
The party’s presidential nomination form costs N10million, while the expression of interest form is N2million.
No fewer than twelve persons have indicated interest in contesting for the presidential ticket of the PDP ahead of the 2019 general election.
Among the PDP presidential aspirants who are also expected to pick the forms are; former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former governor of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, former Minister of Special Duties, Barrister Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, former member of House of Representatives, Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed, former Sokoto State governor, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, former Minister of Education, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, Sokoto State governor, Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and former Governor of Plateau State,
