The Jigawa Central Senatorial candidate for People Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido, has promised to retire the incumbent Senator representing Jigawa Central, Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Nagudu, by defeating him in the forthcoming general election.
Lamido who emerged PDP senatorial candidate dropped the hint yesterday while speaking to newsmen in Dutse, the state capital.
He said his party and the entire youths in the zone have concluded all arrangement and mobilisations to call back the serving senator who, according to him, failed to represent his people properly at the red chamber.
“I want to use this medium to tell the world that the era of old age is over and now, it is a time for younger generation to contribute their quota toward building a better Nigeria.
“It is a time for us (youths) to participate in any nation building struggle as we constitute over seventy percent of Nigeria’s population, so we remain engine of any development”, he said.
