Late Oyo contributed immensely to stabilize Nigeria’s democracy

Kaduna state governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has described the former Presidential Spokesperson and former late Mrs. Remi Oyo as a very hardworking woman, who used her wealth of experience as a media manager to stabilize the nation’s democracy.

In a statement, issued by his Director-General Media and Publicity, Ahmed Maiyaki, the Governor said it received with shock and sadness the news of the death of late Oyo, who was also the former Managing Director of News Agency of Nigeria(NAN).

Governor Yero further said future generations of Nigerians will forever remain grateful “for the patriotic zeal she brought to bear in managing the image of the Presidency at a time the country’s democracy required the needed stability.”

The Governor condoled with the immediate family of the late Oyo, her friends and relatives over the loss and also prayed for the repose of her soul.

In the same vein, Governor Yero has also expressed deep shock over the death of Galadiman Kano, Dr. Tijjani Hashim.

The Governor condoled with the Government of Kano state, the Kano Emirate Council and the entire people of Kano state over the death of the respected member of the royal family.

He however prayed that Allah forgive the late Galadiman Kano all his shortcomings and grant him paradise in the hereafter.
