Nasarawa state House of Assembly member representing Lafía Central, Honorable Solomon Akwashiki has called on people in his constituency and beyond, to always embrace peace by living together in harmony, despite their cultural, religion , and political differences.
The lawmaker, noted that peaceful coexistence is one of the basic key ingredients that brings rapid development into every society in the world.
The Lawmaker who stated this in an interview with newsmen in Lafia the state capital on Wednesday; saying that what the entire state need is absolute peace inorder to enable government and political office holders deliver the dividends of democracy to the people .
Hon Solomon who represents the Lafia metropolís and it’s environs opined that he will dwell on bills that will bring fortunes to his constituency viewed from the absolute support given to him duríng the polls and promised not to fail in actualizing the purpose in which he was voted for.
According to him”we are all Nigerians. Be you an Ibo man , Yoruba ,Eggon,Kanuri,Hausa, Alago ,Migili Tiv etc living in Lafia or its environs. I urged you to Love one another and also respect each other’s culture for peace to reign in the state. Without peace, no meaningful development can strive.
