The Chairman of Lere Local Government Council of Kaduna state, Hon. Mathew Gambo Kaku has unveiled a new initiative called GARIN KUNU LAFIYA to help in managing and sustaining the treatment of severe acute malnutrition (SAM) cases in the council.
The initiative, according to the Chairman will provide essential support and resources for the treatment of SAM cases, ensuring that those affected receive the necessary care and attention they need to recover.
According to him, *The initiative is part of the council’s commitment to addressing the issue of malnutrition in the local community and ensuring the well-being of its residents.
“Through GARIN KUNU LAFIYA, the council hopes to improve the health and nutrition outcomes of individuals suffering from SAM, ultimately leading to a healthier and more prosperous community.”
