The LG K-POP Grand Finale wrapped up with a bang, featuring electrifying performances, stunning special effects, and showcasing immense talent.

LG Electronics brought this highly anticipated event to life, with some of the biggest names in K-POP competing fiercely for the top prize. The energy in the venue was electric as fans cheered on their favorite groups in this unforgettable finale.

Since April, the competition saw 80 talented performers vying for glory, starting from Ibadan, Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. These passionate youths poured their hearts into showcasing their talents.

LG Electronics combined cutting-edge technology with the immense popularity of K-POP, creating a unique event. The semi-finals in these cities led to 18 exceptional teams earning their spots in the grand finale.

Mr. Hyoung Sub Ji, Managing Director of LG Electronics West Africa, expressed his delight, saying, “The LG K-POP Fiesta 2024 is a celebration of incredibly talented K-POP enthusiasts and global culture.

“We aim to connect deeper with Gen Z through innovative products like LG XBOOM and integrated marketing campaigns. With K-POP, we offer a platform that blends audio-visual entertainment with powerful performances.”

“We are proud to bring this exhilarating event to life. It showcased talent, passion, and the harmony of innovation and entertainment. LG Electronics is committed to supporting K-POP culture and nurturing future talents, especially strengthening the bond between Korea and Nigeria,” he added.

The winners were awarded twelve million naira, with three million naira each for the top spots in singing and dance. The first and second runners-up in each category received two and one million naira, respectively.

‘Mamus’ from Port Harcourt won first place in the vocal category, while the dance category was won by ‘Limitless Supreme 6’ also from Port Harcourt. In the dance category, ‘Femmeforce’ from Lagos and ‘Movematics’ from Lagos were the first and second runners-up. In the vocal category, ‘Kcee’ and ‘Shammah’, both from Port Harcourt, took the first and second runner-up positions.

The event, seamlessly hosted by VJ Adams, featured Nollywood actors Ruth Kadiri and Susan Peters, and was judged by Nigerian singer Ric Hassani and award-winning dancer Kaffy.

The LG K-POP Grand Finale will be remembered for its boundless creativity, talent, and technological excellence that LG Electronics consistently delivers. The performances received thunderous applause and high praise, solidifying the participants’ positions as top K-POP artists.
