The League Management Company (LMC) has moved the Week 17 game between Kaduna United and Sunshine Stars of yesterday for today at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
A letter issued in Abuja on behalf of LMC Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar and copied to the concerned clubs showed that eight clubs were involved in the re-arrangement of five matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
According to the letter, this shifted Kaduna United and Sunshine Stars tie as a result of the Golden Eaglets’ international friendly match with their Egyptian counterparts at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna also scheduled to take place on May 28.
Other matches affected are the Week Three match between Abia Warriors and Nembe City FC as well as the Week Eight encounter between Kano Pillars and Bayelsa United will now take place on June 11.
Similarly, the encounter between Bayelsa United and Giwa FC of Jos will hold in Bayelsa on June 15.
Meanwhile, the Week 17 game between Kaduna United and Sunshine Stars FC of Akure has been rescheduled from May 28 to May 29.
In another development, the match involving Sunshine Stars and El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, earlier scheduled for May 31 will now take place on June 1.
