Madaki community wants AMAC chair to fix collapsed bridge

Residents of Madaki Community in Abuja Munipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have appealed to the chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Micah Jiba, to as a matter of urgency to reconstruct the collapsed bridge linking Zuba-Airport road for the benefit of the people plying the road.

The spokesman of the Community, Mr. Yakubu Danladi, who made the appeal while speaking with Peoples Daily on behalf of the Community, said that the collapsed bridge was abandoned by the government of the council for so long now.

He urged the chairman to expedite action to rebuild the bridge for the betterment of commuters and other road users plying the road.

He further called on the chairman to rehabilitate several dilapidated roads in the community, so as to enable the farmers to transport their farm produce to urban markets with ease.

Danladi therefore, requested the chairman to join hands with the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) to provide electricity light, in order to boost socio-economic growth in the community.
