A 4-yearold, Hamza Usman, has appeared before a Gudu Upper Area court in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for allegedly attempting to steal a car.

Usman, whose address is unknown, is facing a charge of attempted theft.

The prosecutor, Insp. Steve Okwuagbor told the court that the accused committed the offence on October, 30, 2014, at the complainant’s house at Plot 540, behind Dunamis Church, Area 1, Abuja.

According to him, the complainant, Mr. Elisha Barnabas, caught the accused while opening the bonnet of a Toyota car parked in front of his house.

“The complainant raised an alarm and the accused immediately ran away. He was given a hot chase and was immediately apprehended,’’ he added.
