Man rapes 10 year-old daughter in Borno

The Borno state Police Command yesterday paraded one, Idris Ali of Moduganari area of Maiduguri for allegedly raping his 10 year old daughter.
The state commissioner of police, Adoda Clement paraded Ali along with three other suspects at the state police command headquarters in Maiduguri.
According to the police commissioner, the suspect confessed to the crime after he was arrested.
The commissioner also paraded one Bana Kyari of Bolori layout of Maiduguri for allegedly raping a three year old girl.
Also paraded was a 22 year old man, Ahmadu Bajoga Bello who allegedly killed one Abdullahi Saidu over N200 he owed the deceased.
The suspect who hailed from Wuyaku village in Biu local government area of the state was said to have committed the offence in 2010 and fled to unknown destination.
“The suspect, who was arrested on 31st of August, 2014 has since made confessional statement admitting to the offence. He divulged that his sordid act was over a debt of N200 he owed the deceased” the commission said.
In a related development, one Abdulraman Iliyasu has been arrested for allegedly killing an immigration officer at the Pompomari area of Maiduguri.
According to the police commissioner, the 24 year old man with another suspect still at large was hired as a POP decorator by the deceased officer, Stephen Musa Bassi before he was murdered.
“The duo buried him within the compound premises before escaping to unknown destination.
After extensive and painstaking investigation and intelligence gathering by team of detectives of the homicide section of the department of criminal investigation, the principal suspect one Abdulraman Iliyasu aged 24 year old was eventually arrested in Kano” CP Clement said.
According to him, all the suspects will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.
