The management of the Merit Time International Magazine has decorated 20 personalities with different award titles at Nigerian National Merit House Maitama, Abuja on Sunday.
The National Co-ordinator of the Merit Time International Magazine, Mr. Sunday Okwu, who made this known while presenting his welcome address at the occasion.
According to Okwu, “Merit Time International is an organisation that is delivering her dream of bringing leaders in Africa and Nigeria in particular together under one umbrella, with regard to her public lectures and humanitarian services”.
Okwu said: “We are a credible organisation of young enterprising, intelligent and committed Nigerians, schooled in the art of journalism and taking journalism to the next level through packaging and branding in developmental journalism thereby encouraging Nigerians who have been contributing to the development of African in their little corner realised”.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Oyaide E. Juliana said: “I am glad to have been picked to identify myself with this great organisation of young and vibrant media and humanitarian personalities of great repute”.
“I am deeply convinced by the great work of leadership and humanitarian services Merit Time International is engaged in, particular in Africa by encouraging good governance and performance of individuals that are hardly noticed by government and the international community”, Julian Said.
Meanwhile, this year’s award lecture with theme “Leadership and Service; The way forward” was presented by Professor Adeniyi Olayanju, the pioneer Vcie-Chancellor of Philomath University Abuja.
