A middle aged woman who was identified and known  as Aisha Taraba,  allegedly kidnapped two children at Abattoir community, in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

 Sources disclosed to our correspondent that Aishat Taraba purportedly abducted  the two children: Imurana Awwal and Salamatu Usman,  and gave them to one Miss Blessing in Kwali Area Council, for safe keeping.

However, the sources also revealed that Miss Blessing went to Lugbe to handover the two children to Aisha Taraba as agreed, who called the line of Aisha Taraba severally at Lugbe and the line was not going through.

It added that Miss Blessing later decided to take the children to one of the orphanage homes at Lugbe in AMAC, and  in the process she was arrested by the Police.

Confirming the incident, the father to one of the kidnapped children, Mallam Awwal Usman, said the children are in the custody of the FCT Police Command.  He disclosed that the children would be released to their parents on Monday being 14th of July, 2025, saying that he was excited for what God had done to them.

Reacting to the development, the village Head of Angwan Jeshi area of Gwagwalada, Abubakar Gani, advised parents to always monitor the activities of their children and those around them.
