Ministers to flag off HYPPADEC skills acquisition for 5000 youths

Ministers of Justice, Abubakar Malami, Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, as well as Ministers of State Labour and Employment and Foreign Affairs, Festus Keyamo have been penciled down to flag off HYPPADEC Youth entrepreneurship for 5000 youths.

A statement issued by the Managing Director and Chief Executive of HYPPADEC, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa said that the Youths were drawn from HYPPADEC communities of the 6 states and would be trained in different enterprises. 

He hinted that arrangements have been concluded for Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission Youth Transformation Programme slated for Thursday, 17th March, 2022 at Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre, Minna.

According to Yelwa, the training was designed to enable the beneficiaries to acquire skills and become self-reliant, as well as contribute their quota to national development.

However, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State will serve as the Chairman of the occasion while Boss Gida Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour.

Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar is to be the Royal Father of the Day at the occasion while the Managing Director and Chief Executive of HYPPADEC will be the Host, the statement revealed.
