The Twenty-two executive members of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have been sworn-in on Tuesday in Gwagwalada.
In an interview with newsmen after the inauguration ceremony, the FCT organizing secretary, Mr. Umar Musa, who spoke on behalf of the newly inaugurated FCT Chairman at the association, Alhaji Wakili Madugu, urged the government at all levels to provide jobs for the Fulani graduates in the territory.
Madugu also appealed to the government of the day to erect more nomadic schools to enable the Fulani to have access to education in their communities where they live.
He said his leadership would deem it fit to maintain a good relationship with the Fulani cattle rearers and famers in order to prevent them from crises, noting that Fulani are peace-loving people.
He then called on other executive members to join hands with him to move the association forward, pointing out that his administration will take the Fulani in the FCT along in the affairs of things.
Madugu, therefore, solicited the support and co-operation of MACBAN Officials and Fulani to arrest some pending issues affecting the Fulani in the territory.
