The Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the FCT, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has urged the youths in Bagusa Community to monitor the activities of the contractors handling the community roads.
Maikanlangu, who made this known while reading his political speech during the ground breaking ceremony for the construction/rehabilitation of Bagusa township roads on Tuesday. Also solicited the support of the community for smooth execution of the roads.
“Today’s flag-off, we are witnessing here in Bagusa community is in fulfillment of my campaign promise to you, targeted at massive intervention on access and link roads to boost security and increase socio-economic activities and general well-being of our people in various communities “AMAC boss said.
He disclosed that Bagusa roads project was designed with drainages alongside the solar street lights, proclaiming that the projects are expected to finish within two months.
He, however, appealed to the residents of the community to support the Government of AMAC as well co-operate with the contractors for the successful completion of the project, urging the inhabitants to pray for his good health for him to deliver the dividends of democracy in the community.
