Monarch tasks Gwagwalada chair on social amenities

The village head of Kutunku community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Mohammed Sani Philip, has called on the chairman of the area council, Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, to provide basic amenities to alleviate the plight of the people in the area.

Also, he urged the chairman expedite action towards rehabilitating the many deplorable rural roads, so as to enable the farmers to transport their farm produce to various urban markets for sale.

He expressed displeasure that the present administration of the area council was yet to touch the lives of people in the area.

The Monarch, who made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily in Kutunku, decried the dearth of essential social amenities such as pipe bone water, electricity transformers as well as access roads.

Also, he called on the council boss to provide the essential drugs at Kutunku health Centre to enable the patients have access to drugs whenever the need arises.

He further requested the chairman to ensure the provision of the needed facilities for the people of Gwagwalada and its environs to enable them to feel the impact of the present administration of the council.

The traditional ruler appealed to the chairman to take the monarchs along irrespective of their status, noting that the royal fathers were being neglected in the area of seeking solution to the problems of their people.
