The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria MSSN has Called for a total overhauling of the security system in the country, just as they strongly condemn and totally reject the abduction over 234 students

The Amir of the MSSN, Malam Abdulazeez Sirajudeen Folayemi made the call at the occasion of the 60th anniversary lecture for the MSSN North-East zone, with the theme: “Impacts Problems and Prospects”, held in Bauchi, at the weekend.

According to him, “We say there should be a total overhaul of the nation’s security system. The nation is no safer to live in, the military check points have been turned to toll gates for extorting money from the traumatized masses.

“The nation’s security chiefs should ask themselves what the various check points are doing while bombs are been moved around and our 234 students abducted and moved to Sambisa unstopped.

The Amir said the terrorists have declared a war against the nation and the masses are their target. Bombing all over the nation and especially in the north, killing and abduction of innocent students and masses among other evils has shown that the nation security forces are not on top of the situation.

“The authority should stop politicising the nation’s security situation but come up with a pro-active measure to make Nigeria a safe place to live”, he stated.
